Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Fresno North/Shaw Avenue

Overall a very nice stay. Staff were wonderful and my stay was overall quiet. The room had a good amount of electrical ports to plug in laptops and phone chargers. The room was a bit dark, even though there is a desk lamp, floor lamp, and lamp above the nightstand.

Great place to stay in the area. Staff is very friendly and everything is clean. We didn't specify a floor, but would probably want the second floor next time. Room was fine. Sadly, the shower body cleanser was either overly watered-down or just not good at all so bring your own.

The staff, beginning with Eloy and a lady named Michelle were spot on with my reservation and its particulars. Michelle is amazing. It was a wonderful experience. Customer service at its best. We went to discover Sequoia National Park, driving and enjoying God's splendorous creation. Thank you to all the staff at Fairfield Inn on North Shaw for a wonderful stay.

Jessica, the hotel attendent was such a great listener. I walked into the office after having a horrible time at the hotel across the street and she treated me professionally. She explained the amenities of this hotel well. She made a connection with her love of the outdoors, and where we came to enjoy our vacation. She made our stay a place of security in a rough part of the day. We came in the hotel and we needed some water and she gave one to my wife. She was awesome. Because she gave us excellent service and that the hotel was what we needed. We made it to our flight on time and have a great rest before a grueling travel day. Thank you and I hope you reward her for her service and attention to detail.

Very nice hotel. Excellent customer service. Very friendly check in experience. Front desk night time girl was professional and kind. Clean rooms and comfortable. Breakfast with Ms Bertha’s kitchen was fantastic. Multiple options to choose from each day. She’s so kind and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay Note for EVs. No Tesla charger, it’s just the EV connect kind. And it’s around the back of the building. Not well lit. Still great hotel and worthy of all 5 stars ⭐

I can't say enough about how amazing the staff is here. First, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food for the complimentary breakfast was delicious. But the staff members are the stars. Renna greeted us with her beautiful smile and sweet spirit. I sat and listened to her walk around at breakfast and greet all the guests. Making them feel so special! This woman is unique in her approach to customer service. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. She wants to make their experience wonderful. I work very hard so when I get to take time off, Renna is the type of person that makes my vacation worth it. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I sat and watched Sylvia take such care in her work. Cleaning and mopping. Such attention to detail. Her job is not easy! She not only does it but takes pride in it! Thank you Sylvia for making our experience amazing! You are one of a kind! If you visit Fresno, don't stay anywhere else. You will not be disappointed!!

I want to praise two employees - first is Bertha. I have been to many hotels and most of them have sub-par breakfast. By no means are the breakfast food selection were top-notch or 5 star hotel quality, nor were they all freshly cooked that morning, but the fact that Bertha kept the area clean, spotless, stocked, and warm shows that she takes great pride in her work. Next is Luis - he checked me in and also checked me out. He greeted me with a warm smile, gave me the needed information about the hotel, and genuinely welcomed me. As I left, more of the same characteristics. These are the two employees you would want to work for you, whether it is in the hotel business or not. As far as the hotel, the hotel is fairly new, rooms were clean and modern. The only negative about the hotel is the thickness of the walls. I can hear easily whats going on outside my room.

I want to recognize Tony at the front desk for truly going above and beyond. When I arrived, the interaction with the staff member before him was disappointing and not very welcoming. Tony completely turned that experience around. He made me feel genuinely welcomed, acknowledged my Marriott Gold Elite status, and took the time to accommodate me with professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. His customer service was outstanding and reminded me why I stay loyal to Marriott properties. Tony is a true asset to this Fairfield Marriott, and I hope management recognizes the level of service he provides. Experiences like this make a real difference.
